Charms this time at DW.

Well, I am the hostes of this challenge and it goes like this: This week, I really do it simple. Use two charms and a brad on your card. And ofcours you have to include a download, that`s the major rule in these challenges.
*Gunn:-)

I used this charmed download, think she is so cute on her bike. You can find her in this collection- Sugar and Spice. Paper are Bazzill. I used some tuill and lace, lace is colored with glimmer mist. Flowers are prima. I also used MS punch.
My brad is in the star of the sentiment. My charms are the butterfly and the sun.

So head over to Dotties World and take a look at the rest of the creations.

Christmas with a twist over at DW.

This week Karen has sat the challenge and this is her words about that:

This is the time we all make a start on our huge pile of Christmas cards - if it isn't then it should be as you surely don't want that last minute panic :-) To get you started we would like you to create a Christmas card, the condition here is that you must not use traditional Christmas colours, so I don't want to see any reds or greens, anything else is good to go. The only absolute must-have is of course one of the gorgeous Charmed downloads.

I didn`t almost manage to do this challenge, so I am really late with my card. I wanted to use this little bird- it is so cute, and I really think these colors go so well with this bird. My cutie is from the Mixed Christmas Collection.
Papers are Bazill and Panduro, heart Panduro- sentiments. sorry, can`t remember.

So head over to the main blog and take a look at the other cards.

Great outdoor- Dotties Challenge this Week

Opps, I forgot the image :-(

Adele has set this weeks challenge and she has this to say about that subject.

I cannot believe how quickly this year has gone, children going back to school and the thought of Autumn ahead already. Let's make the most of the weather whilst we can!

THE GREAT OUTDOORS
Please make a card, project with an outdoor theme. That's the only requiremnt apart from obviously using one or more of the fabby Charmed Downloads.
XXXX

So with this theme I had to get my favorite Pixie out of the dark, I really love this one. Colored her in with colors that goes for the autum. And I really have the autum feeling, it is raining like crazy here, and the fog is coming down from the hills and the colors are all shades now.

Papers are Bazzill and Maja Design., flower is retro punch and storyteller, leaves are prima and I took a bit of this and a bit of that from my stash and Voila- here is my card.

This beauty you can download from Charmed Card and Craft- the Mixed Christmas collection
So head over to Dotties World and see the rest of the creations, and we would appreciate it if you took part in this challenge.

Over at DW- on the beach

Well it is a bit late here in Norway for summer, the autum has arrived. But over at Dotties World we still have a bit of summer. Lou has sat this challenge and in her own word se tell what this is all about:

Hello Folks, Louise here. As this challenge goes live I will actually be sunning myself in Turkey! So I think it would be a fitting plan to make a beach/vacation themed card - make it sunny please! Don't forget your Charmed download!

So I started to play and pretend that summer is not over yet, or is this my dream for next summer?

I cut out the card with my Silhouette, using StampinUp cream paper. Then I used ink direct to paper for these colors.
Sentiment in the middle is a ClubScrap stamp and the sentiment in the upper corner is a printable from House of 3.
Pattern paper is from my scraps. I also used some Karen Marie klipp flowers. Charms are from my stash.
My charmed one is from this collection.
So head over to Dotties World and take a look at the other creations, they are beautiful.
Enjoy your sunday.

Be inspired- that`s the issue over at DW

This week Lou has set this challenge and she has this to say about that:

Hello Guys and Gals, Louise here,
We haven't had a photo inspiration challenge for blummin ages! So here we go, use this picture as inspiration to make a card (or even something else!)- maybe it will be the colours, maybe the flower, maybe the romantic feel of it - there are no rules with inspiration challenges, it's how the picture effects and inspires you. Oh actually there is one rule! The rule is -and believe me some people still forget this one - USE A CHARMED DOWNLOAD!

Well, this is a great picture and I really got inspired, so I made this little box with the Sweet little Dreamer. I used bazzill paper and the pattern paper is Olivia from BG. Punched the tab with my Stampin Up punch.
I used some big flowers I bought ages ago, and I can\t remember from wich company. The rest of the embellishment is from Storyteller.
The dreamer is from the Pixie collection at Charmed Card and Craft. She is colored with copics. I also used a Pink Paisely border.

So head over to the main blog DW and take a look at what the rest of the team has done. Why not play with us and be inspired.
Wish you all a great sunday.

This week I am the hostess for the challenge over at Dotties World, and my words goes like this:

This week I thought you can get an easy challenge. We have to admitt to ourselves at least, that we often get favorites.
That can be a book, a flower, movie, friend a family member or whatever....
This week I want you to take your favorite Charmed One- a new or old and just make a card or project with it. You can do whatever you want, just have fun. But your favorite has to be a CHARMED DOWNLOAD.

So let me see lots of favorites this week, and have fun.
*Gunn*

For my card I used this Sweetie in the Boy oh Boy collection- he is really a favorite even tough I don`t play much with him.
I made it a birthday card for a litle boy later in the fall.

Paper are Bazzill, and Basic Grey Oliver.
Frame- fun stuff is from House of 3, I printed it out on sticker paper.
Sentiment is Norwegian and is a birthday sentiment.
I also used my QK and Spellbinder die.

Manly with a twist

This is Adeles wish over at Dotties World. So I just post what she said about this challenge:

Whilst looking through my stock box I noticed I am incredibly short of cards for men so I thought it would be a good idea to get a few in there rather than keep putting myself under the pressure of having to make them at the last minute - cards for men can be tricky enough as it is!

You have loads of images to choose from the Charmed Download collections so lets see what you can come up with........Now for a little twist, I want to see some ribbon on your manly cards!!

Great challenge, Me like... :-))

Here is my card.

Papers are from my stash, real old one and I am sorry but can`t remember from where.
Some bling that came in a kit long ago.
Sentiment is a PXS stamp.
My charmed one is Mickey from THIS collection.

So head over to DW and see what the other girls have done, and ofcours it would be fun if you joined us.
Wish you all a great sunday.

Movie at Dotties world.

Sheila has sat this challenge and it is a difficult but yet fun challenge.
And this was her last challenge over at DW and I am so sorry she is leaving the team, but I can fully understand her reasons. Sometimes one need to take time to live the life.

Well this is what she said about this challenge:

I love going to the cinema with my grandsons.. gives me the perfect excuse for seeing all the latest kids Disney/Cartoon movies so with this in mind my theme for the challenge this weeks is....

LETS GO TO THE MOVIES!!

So find your favourite Charmed Crafts download and turn it into a movie/movie character or relate it to a movie/character - simples no? :-).

I had a hard time making this card, but this is the result. I have used paper from DWD- Once upon a time and this image is from Charmed Card and Crafts, the newest collection- Once Upon A Time by Lou. I have been waiting to play with it.
So head over to the main blog and read all about this challenge and see the other girls card.

Vintage style over at Dotties World.

This week I am the hostess for the challenge and I have to admitt that I was not sure what to say, but this is what I came up with:

Time for a new challenge. This time I would love to see Vintage style on your cards, and be inspired by summer. It could be the colors, flowers, time of year and so on. Make the card or project in Vintage style and you are good if you - REMEMBER TO INCLUDE A CHARMED DOWNLOAD, that`s the most important thing with these challenges.

Looking forward to see what you can do when creativity is in summer modus...

*Gunn :-) *

Well, so far so good. Since I am on vacation and don`t have the opportunity to get all my stuff with me, I just made a simple card this time.
I wanted to use some from the new collection, but since I can`t get it printed before I get home, I had to use one of my old favorites- he is so cute and you can find him here.

The colors are so much brighter and beautiful in real life and it shows on this photo. I took it with my cellphone in the bad lightning. I was inspired by the warm sun as for the color on the main card. And the rest of the colors also remind me of summer in a way, and I tried to make it a bit vintage, not sure if I really made it.

Head over to Dotties world and take a look at what the other has done. I am sure there will be cards with images from the new collection.

Getting hotter where you are? Summer is well and truly with us. Lets celebrate that by bringing in some fiery colours! So in keeping with the weather I would like you to use hot colours this week, fiery reds or burning oranges and golds, along with a Charmed download of course :-)

So I did that... used red, orange and gold on my card.
Cardstock is Bazzill`s big tag in red. The background is glimmermisted with different yellow and oranges along with some gold.
I used Prima flowers, some Basic Grey bling it. The frame is leftover from a spellbinder nestabilities, can`t remember the name of it.
I used my cuttlebug dotted embossing folder and some red ink to get it "hotter"
My charmed one is from Pixie collection and you can find her here.

Easel Card over at Dotties World

Hello you all.
This sunday Karen has set the challenge over at Dotties World and this is her words about that:
----------------------
Hi girls, Karen here. Nicole is taking some well-deserved time out so I will set the challenge for this week.

Have you tried making the very popular, and dead easy, Easel cards yet? My challenge this week is to make one so here's your chance to have a go. There are instructions on how to make an Easel Card on the Charmed site HERE. Theme, colours - anything goes, as long as it has one of the Charmed downloads on there somewhere.

I think this is my second easel card so far. Had fun making this one. There isn`t to much stash on this card. Some pearls and a flower I made of fabric.
Cardstock is Bazzill.
The rest of the paper is digital. I played with it in photoshop elements. I took a digital paper from" Ola la French Kit" made by Rhonna Farrer over at House of 3 as the base, then I used several brushes and added to it- all brushes are also made by Rhonna. Then I added the text.
It took a while, but sometimes I really enjoy playing digital. The Birds are png.file and I printed it out on clear sticker paper and added it to the card.
My charmed one is Holly on tour and she is ofcours in France. You can find her here.
Hope you take time to head over to DW and take a look at what the rest of the team has come up with. Love it.

I need Flowers!

This week I am the hostess for the challenge over at Dotties World. And here is what I want.

Hello folks.
I live in North of Norway and we do have bit to much snow on the ground yet, and inside we do not have water, it is frozen and if we are lucky it may come back in the end of this month. So you see, I need colours and some flowers in my life now.

I want you to use flowers on your card in different colours, so go wild with this one. Any kind of flowers will do. But, the most important thing to remember is to use one of our Charmed downloads.

Looking forward to see what you make of this one.
And when I look out my window, it is actually snowing. I have to admitt that I like snow..... but that is in the winter, not at springtime.

Well, this week I deceided to make a picture instead of a card. I found this frame in my basement when cleaning up after the flood. Can you belive it, water everywhere else but in the water tap where we want it.

I made the background with Glimmer mist, added different kind of flowers from my stash, stamped the word belive and used this sweet Flower Pixie from Charmed Card and Craft. You can find her in this collection.
So head over to Dotties World and take a look at what the rest of the design team has come up with.

Over at DW we have a question: Pastel or bright?

Over at DW this week there is a choice, and Adele is the lady that gives you this choice.

Hi everyone, Adele here. Well today it's my birthday.....21 again and I have a little twist in this week's challenge. This week you have a choice but it's still fairly open. I want you to think;

PASTELS or BRIGHTS!

Make a card or project using a Charmed Download keeping to either VERY pale pastel colours or VERY bright, bold colours. Now if of course you want to make two creations, one of each, that would be fantastic. Perhaps try two versions of the same image.

Looking forward to seeing what you all come up with! XXX

I tried to make one card in pastel, they are not the palest pastel ( sorry, didn`t read the challenge well enough, but it has to do for this time) but the tag is pretty much very bright.
Hope you like them.

I have used some Bazzill cardstock ont these two. The pattern paper are from House of 3 and Basil grey. Flowers are big old Prima and I think I used them like once before. I had them for some years. Sentiment on tag is Stampin Up. These two girls are my charmed one and you can find them here:
So head over to DW and take a look at what the rest of the teamies has come up with.
