I been so inpired by all the great mixed media artists out there, specially Finnabair and Limor Webber. So I had this image in my head of a canvas i wanted to make.
I decided it was time to try to get it out of my head and on to canvas. And I could combine it with my DT week over at CopicMarkerNorge.
So I did use one of my latest purchases from Sweet Pea. The digital version of "Quiet Moments" from Karen Midleton. This is such a pretty image, I love it. And so fun to color.
I printed it out in a much larger version than usuall.

I used deep coloring since I new some of it would dispear during the prosess.
I used lots of gesso and my new addictive- Lindys Stamp Gang sprays and mists. They are awesome.
Flowers from Prima, stencils and molding paste.
I also made some leaves and butterflies with the molding clay from Martha Stewart and her silicone forms.
That is such a fun medium to play with.
Well here is my finished project, hope you like it.
I had a lot of fun, and for me, that is the main thing.
So I hope you got some inspiration to play with mixed media.
