Confirmation card

I made a confirmation card on request. She wanted a pocket to put a gift card in, the rest was my desicion.
So this is what I came up with.

This is the front of the card. I cut a jeans pocket with my silhouette, Then made the belt loops. I glimmermisted the card and the pocket. Made it like a jeans. I used foam to make the belt and distressed it. I had a blue lace glued on and some pearls. And I just added some small embellishments on the front.

And for the inside I had some scraps that I used, just distressed the egdes and did stamp a sentiment from Stempelglede.
I also colored in one of my new Leanne Ellis images. And added a top note die cut to write on.

Getting to know you..... Stampin For The Weekend

For this challenge we want to get to know you a bit better. And we want you to do a card or project based on your favorite book.

Sponsors for this challenge is Michelle Perkett.

Michelle is offering a set of 12 of her greeting cards and one digi image, of the winner's choice, from her store

Tracey from Spesch Designer Stamps is also sponsoring this challenge with some Digi's!

Our Guest Designer is Fiona, take time to visit her blog and enjoy her cards.

Have to admitt that I had a bit of a struggle with this one. Suddenly it hit me: my first book(s) iIgot from my grandparents when I learned to read. Ilove them and wanted this fasinated girl to be my best friend. Why? Because she is strong, "Sweet", kind, living alone with her horse and monkey in a big house and the best friend ever for a kid. She isn`t so loved by adults but when I tell you who she is you understand- at least Norwegian and Sweeden people do :-)

This girls is ofcourse PIPPI LONGSTOCKINGS.

Paper is Bazzill and ClubScrap
Pattern paper is Kelly Pancini
Sentiment is from Silhouette ( House of 3)
I printed out pictures of the covers of these 3 books and put in this basket that is a stamp from Hänglar
And this girl is Sweet Annie from Charmed Card and Craft and she reminds me of Pippi in a way.

So head over to Stampin For The Weekend and see what the rest of the design time has come up with. And we would be happy if you joined in this challenge.

Pockets......that`s the issue today

This sunday over at Dotties World, Lou has one wish and this is what she says about that:

Hello Crafters, Louise here.
This week I'd like you to fill your pockets! :) In other words include a pocket in your creation, I don't mind what you put in it as long as the pocket is there....if you are sending it to me £10 notes work well :D.
Dont forget Dottie's World challenges MUST include a Charmed download!

And as the good girls we are, we try to satisfy her, and here is my card for this challenge.

Papers are Bazzill, Hot of the press and a digi freebie (Sorry, can`t remember from where, if anyone know, please leave a comment and I can giver proper credit)
Embellishments are from my stash.
Pocket (and I made a real pocket, glued a front and a back together with some foam and glue to make it), ticket and sentiment it cut with my Silhouette.
And my cool boy is my Charmed download and you can find him here in the Boy oh Boy collection.

I didn`t fill the pocket with money- sorry for that, But sometimes it is more fun to have time to play.... :-) and I give you the ticket for that...lol

And if you fancy pockets, play along.

ArtJournal page- to long since my last one.

I do or rather did make Artjournaling and loved it so much. Just playing with different things and and that is pure pleasure. But I have been into cardmaking for a while now.
So I got the need to make an AJ page and I have a litle goal for myself- try to make one or two (at least) pr. month for the rest of the year.
This time I wanted to make a page and include the lyrics from an Norwegian song by Kine Hellebust- De handle om å leve- ( It`s all about living) because I like that song so much.
Ok, enough talk. Here is my page or rather two. This one I made in my Moleskine journal

It is time for a new challenge over at Dotties World.

Hello
this week I am the hostes for this challenge over at DW, and this is my "demand" :-)

This week I want you to play with these colors of my choice: Green, Pink and Turqoise. And if you want to , make your own background paper using these colors. You can paint, mist, chalk or whatever medium you prefer- even play in photoshop.
The most important thing is to remember to use a Charmed Download- if you want to take part in this challenge. You have so many to choose from.
So get your play hat on and have fun- challenges are suppose to be fun :-) I can`t wait to see what you come up with Gunn * :-)

I had so big plans for this challenge, I was thinking of making my own pattern paper, but live got in the way and there was no time.
so I used this bright and beautiful paper from House of 3 ( Heidi Swapp).
This is actually not a card. I wanted to do something else for a change. This is an enevelope I added papers and stamp to. So if I want to I can write on a card without anything else and they still get a kind of card anyway.
Other papaers are bazzil, clubscrap, the lace border is a paper I glimmer misted earlier and punced out.
Sentiment is a Rhonna Farrer one, and it is printed on sticker paper.
And my Charmed Download is thi cute litle bird couple, they are colored in with my copic.
The bling and the flower are somthing old from my stash.

So jump over to Dotties World an see what my teamies has come up with. And ofcourse, take part in this challenge and have fun

Butterflies.... at DW.

Hello another week gone by. That mean another challenge at Dotties World. This week lovely Nicole is the hostess and she wants:

This week I would LOVE to see at least two butterfly embellishments....patterned paper with butterflies won't do!! :o).....the butterflies must be 3D :o) and of course you must include a Charmed download!

Happy Spring!

So ofcourse we want to please her, and here is my card for this challenge.

I used Bazzill cardstock, House of 3 pattern paper, Tim Holtz butterfly stamp, text is from Ditten og Datten. Frame is cut out with my silhouette and glimmer misted.
And my Charmed one is one of my favorite- Christmas Pixie. But it isn`t christmas now, it is spring so I dressed her in spring colors. Here where I live we still got lots of snow, so I think she suits spring well. I colored her with my copics.

So head over to Dotties World and play along if you want, but take a look at the other DT creations anyway.
