Paper Roses over at Dotties Word this week.

Hello
It is sunday again and time for a new challenge over at Dotties World. This week Adele is hostess and she wants:

Hi everyone, Adele here and it's my turn to set the challenge this week. With spring (hopefully) in the air I want you to think:
Paper Roses...............

or daffs, or tulips....you get the picture? BUT I don't want to see any pre-made flowers please - only die cuts, punched flowers or any flower/s you have made from scratch on your creations this week please. The only other limitation is that a Charmed Download MUST be used....but that is no limitation at all is it, there is so much to choose from! LOL

So without further do, here is my card.

Cardstock is Bazzill, pattern paper is from House of 3, valentine collection. I also used TH latest dies. This is so great. I embossed and inked it again with vintage distress and had som dabber paint to get the old rusty look. The sign I used crakle paint and dabbers on. Had really fun doing this.
The lace was cream, but I glimmer misted it to get the same color as in my flower, and that worked amazingly well.

As for my flower

I glimmer misted tree papers in different colors and punched out one large and two medium retro flowers and one scallop sircel. The cirkel I cut and formed liket petals to get this "standing" look and put together all with a pearl and pin.
And ofcours my Charmed one- She is from the Girl about town collection, thats such a great collection, if you don`t have it, take a look here.

So head over to DW and take a look at the amazing card for my teamies. And enjoy and have fun with this challenge.

Creative Exercises

I made a jar with Rhonna Farrer`s 100 creative exercises. It was so fun and it do work, because when I played with this jar, I got several ideas what I want to try out.
This jar is kind of small, but I like it and the stripes with the exercises fits inside it, so I will keep this.
I used some paint and fabric- added a couple of Rhonnas printables ( I printed them out on sticker sheet- clear) and made a couple of tags and some bling

.

So finally I may get some of my project done. Thank you Rhonna for your Idea.
If anyone is interested in this, head over to Rhonna`s blog and read more about it here.
When I say project I mean other things than card, because I like to do other stuff as well. There has to be some balance in this you know.

The sentimen is Norwegian and I have used a copy of a libary card.
My charm is a heart wich says: made with love

Over at DW we have a question: Pastel or bright?

Over at DW this week there is a choice, and Adele is the lady that gives you this choice.

Hi everyone, Adele here. Well today it's my birthday.....21 again and I have a little twist in this week's challenge. This week you have a choice but it's still fairly open. I want you to think;

PASTELS or BRIGHTS!

Make a card or project using a Charmed Download keeping to either VERY pale pastel colours or VERY bright, bold colours. Now if of course you want to make two creations, one of each, that would be fantastic. Perhaps try two versions of the same image.

Looking forward to seeing what you all come up with! XXX

I tried to make one card in pastel, they are not the palest pastel ( sorry, didn`t read the challenge well enough, but it has to do for this time) but the tag is pretty much very bright.
Hope you like them.

I have used some Bazzill cardstock ont these two. The pattern paper are from House of 3 and Basil grey. Flowers are big old Prima and I think I used them like once before. I had them for some years. Sentiment on tag is Stampin Up. These two girls are my charmed one and you can find them here:
So head over to DW and take a look at what the rest of the teamies has come up with.

SFTW are going Monochromatic

this week the challenge over at SFTW is to make Monochromatic cards. Well, sometimes that can be a bit of a challenge, but this time I had really fun making my card.

Simon Says Stamps is sponsor for the prize on this challenge.

A $25 shopping Voucher

Our Guest Designer this month is Heather. Take time to visit her, she has beautiful cards and also tutorials. And be sure to leave her some kind words.

I wanted to use one of Duda designs digital stamp and this boy is great. My card goes in differnt green tones, but on screen some of the colors seems blue. That isn`t so, it is sea blue.

I used paper from my stack, I think it is Hot of the press. Ribbon is something I had for years. And there are a couple of charms as well. And this cute litle car button I bought in a local store.
The star and weekday border is cut with my silhouette.

So head over to Stampin For The Weekend and take a look at what the rest of team come up with. And if your are in for some fun, join this challenge.

Skisseutfordring hos StampArtic

Da har jeg jaggu klart å lage ett skissekort til denne uka, og delta i enda en utfordring. Det er jaggu ikke værst til å være meg. Dette er også det første Hänglar stemplet jeg har kjøpt, syntes det var så søtt.

This card is for the Stampartic sketch challenge. I made two sketches and two challenges beside Dt challenges this week. That`s pretty amazing for me... But I had lots of fun.

The colors on my card seem a bit funny on my screen, hope they are ok.

Sugar Bowl challenge- Sketch going Shabby chic`

This time the challenge over at Sugar Bowl is a sketch, and they want us to go for the shabby chic` style.
I am not sure if I made it, but I fell in love with this Duda stamp and wanted to use it for this challenge.
So for once I wanted to play along, and got time to make this card.
So here is my card for this one.
