Distressing at Dotties World.

This week Nicole is the one who has the saying- and it goes like this:

Hello Nicole here. :o)
This week I'd like to see some distressing on your card.
Any kind of distressing (inking, edge distressing, sanding..)is fine...just make sure you include a charmed download on your card.
Can't wait to see what you all come up with!

This is such a fun challenge and I really enjoyed making my card.

Cardstock is Bazzill, pattern paper is House of 3 and selfmade glimmer mist aquarell paper. both pink a blue. The blue frame is cut with the Silhouette.
Flower is Prima, ribbon is Panduro. The sentiment is Norwegian and is a birthday sentiment.
All egdes are distressed with chestnut roan colorbox fluid chalk. I even used my sewing machine on this one, something I seldom do.
This lovely girl is my Charmed download, from the Sugar and Spice collection. You find her here.
So head over to Dotties world and see what the rest of team has come up with, they do such beautiful work.

Just a bithday card

Hello
I made a simple birthdaycard using the House of 3` paper. I love their papers, the best part is that it is digital and I can use whenever I want and they can be used for everything.
Not an image on this one , but Congrats in Norwegian. I also used my silhouette for the flowers.
Ribbon from Nille.

Here is my card.

This sunday we have to think small..... :-)

Over at Dotties World, Lou want us to think small.... and this is her saying about that subject.

Hello Folks, Louise here,

This week I want you to think small, I'd like you to use your Charmed download on a project that is smaller than that which you would normally make.
I won't give any specific dimensions, just think dinky (small :)).......This should be fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I'll look forward to seeing what you come up with xxxx

I don`t know if this is small enough... but I found a 4"x4" chipboard and cover it with paper. And this litle guy is just so Birthdayboy for me, so I made this for a litle boy I am aunt to.

I colored him with my copics and the background with cats eye. Then I cut out the upper half of the boy to make him stand out a bit. I found this birthday ribbon and slide in my stash and it is from HTP from years ago. Sentiment is Norwegian and means Happy Birthday. I stamped it with Stazon and then I glued a button on. This way the slide become a pocket money for a birhtday present.
I also used my StampinUp punches to make the nameplate.
Mine Charmed download is from the Boy Oh Boy collection and you can find it here, such a great collection.
So head over to Dotties World and see for your self what the rest of the team has made.

This is the first time I try one of Sketchy colors challenges. It isn`t often I do take challenges, not because I don`t want to, but I can`t get my card ready in time. But this time I did it...
The bird is pink, but my scanner wouldnt show it proberly. It is one of Heidi Swaps mirror birds.

Friday - and that means a new challenge over at SFTW

This week Di is the one who have this challenge and she wants us to do this sketch

She is also sponsering the winner with 5 of her own digistamps, aren`t the cutest?

Our Guest Designer for February is Shirley Chalmers. If you havent visit her blog yet, take time to do so. She is one great crafter.

Well, this is my take on this sketch.

Cardstock is Bazzill and the pattern paper is some I bought a couple of years ago on Nille, they are really vintage. I also used some Jenni Bowlin vintage chipboard buttons. The flower and button is from my stash. Lace is bought in a local store. The sentiment is Norwegian and says: Have a nice day.
My cute little Annie is from Charmed Card and Craft. and I colored her in with my copics.

So hop over to Stampin For The Weekend and see what the rest of the team has come up with.
Wish you all a great weekend and have fun.

Challenge 14th February at Dotties World- Hearts

Another sunday and anohter challenge over at Dotties World. This week I am the one who host this challenge. And this is what I say about this one:

Hello :-)
Today it is actually Valentines, and I think that a card with one or several hearts on would be nice. Or if you like, the card itself can be a heart...
And I would like you to do some droodling on the card as well. That can be by freehand or you can use some template if you prefere that.
But the most important thing is to remember a Charmed Download :-)
So enjoy and have fun.
Gunn :-O

So for today I made a litte box with a heart window and just had so much decorating this. I have used stamps from two collections at Charmed Card and Craft.
inside the box this cutie is from Sugar and Spice collection and the boy is from Boy Oh Boy collection. These are two collections from our talented Lou that I really love.

I have sprayed the box with Glimmer Mist (very inspired by Heidi Swapp) , then distressed the egdes with a darker brown colorbox chalk. I have droodled wiht my white gel pen and hand written the "Sweet Hearts" The other sentiment is a printable from the House of 3.
Flowers, ribbon and eyelets are from my stash and I have colored my images with copics.
The heartbox is cut with my Silhouette.
I have to say that I was inspired to make my own version of the heart box from House of 3. I really liked that project, but I do not like to wait for about 2-3 weeks to get my stuff from over USA when I order online. So I deceided to do an alternative box. I am pleased with this result, this box is so much prettier IRL than on this picture.

So head over to Dotties World and take a look at the other DT project on this challenge. I love their work.

I do make Magnolia- sometimes

It is not often, but sometimes I do make Magnolia card. I used to be a member of their stampclub a couple of years ago. So I don`t have any of their last cute stamps, but I found two that I never used before and made these two birthdaycard. They are for a challenge on a private forum.

The doilies was cut with my Sihouette- that machine is awesom, one of my best buy.
