Sunday at Dotties and this week we see clearly

This week Adele is the one who challenges us- and this is what she says:

Hi all Adele here,

"I set this challenge at the beginning of the New Year as I was tidying away the Christmas decorations and packaging. Now not being one to like waste I came across a nice large piece of acetate packaging and thought....hmmmmmm! SO, I would like to see some acetate on your creations this week please...if you don't have any BUY some quick or improvise with a window/aperture, oh and don't forget that in our challenges you have to use a Charmed Download :)

Looking forward to seeing what you all come up with."

This is a great challenge and I had so much fun making my card.
I made the hole card with acetat and added some papers, really old one I had and I don`t know from where. I used some prima pearls and some big flowers, ribbons and the sentiment is cut with my silhouette (I love that machine).
My card wouldn`t stand, so I did something wrong, I couldn`t figure that out. So instead I placed the flowers and leafs inside the card. Made to hole at each end on the front and had eyelts and ribbon attached to the card front inside to go on the back of the card to tie it. On the front cover I attached the sentiment - and this i fluzzy black vinyl- and the pearls. This card is not ment to opend, it is meant to stand like this.

So for writing a greeting I did this on the back

This week we have a Monochromatic Challenge ...

It is sunday and that means another challenge over at Dotties World.

It is my turn to deceide this week, and I tried to make an easy challenge this time. I want monochromatic and the color to use is WHITE - you can use from the lightest white to ivory and cream.And for a special extraI want you to use a small touch of the lighest brown. Your charmed ones is allowed to have skin and hair colors. A Charmed Download is a must, so don`t forget that one. Have fun with this one.

Cardstock is Bazzill, background I made digital and printet out- and the notepaper are from MM. "Faboulus" is cut with my silhouette. And I also use sticker for "dude"
Buttons and charm is from my stash. The owl is from Tattered Angels- nature. I have used glimmer mist on the "faboulus", Cream The Cocoa and Paerl.
And my lightest brown is Colorbox fluid chalk- creamy brown I have distressed the egdes with that one.
My image I have colored with copic- floral white, brick white, pearl whith, egg shell and Dull Ivory. And ofcourse I used the usual one for me, when it comes to skin and hear.

Fiona has made this fab sketch, and I had so much fun making my card.

For this card I used cardstock from ClubScrap, and pattern paper are from Hot of the press, Nille and the rest I can`t rememember.
Text is from "Norsk Stempelblad". I also used some different dies and punches- nestabilities, retro flower and bosscut.
And the Image is Mummu from Mo`s Digitale Pencil.

So without saying more, here is my card useing this sketch.

Cardstock is Bazzill and pattern paper are Basic Grey. Sentiment ins QK letters- storyteller, circles are nestabilities, buttons, brad and charm are from my stash. And I distressed and droodled along the egdes.

As we have entered a New Year I would like you to look back at your "Crafts of the Past" dig out something from your stash, blow off the dust and put it to use with a new item that you have recently bought or been given as a pressie! As long as you use a Charmed Download, the rest is up to you.

This is a really fun challenge I think, and Ireally enjoyed making this card.


I have used some of my oldest stuff I have. The brads, and the Prima Flowers is the absolutte first flowers I bought years ago. The pattern paper is from about 7 years ago, I was member of a monthley kit klub, but I can`t remember the name of it.
The big brad I wrote the text on.
My charmed download is from Pixie collection, and I think she is a beauty. The clock on the bird, I bought this autum and is from Tim Holtz.
My newest thing from this year, is so new that I got it today (yesterday :-) and that is my silhouette SD, that is my xmas present from my hubby and boys. I love it. So I went a bit crazy on their online store and downloadet a bunch of images. The frame, bird and sentiment I cut out with my silhouette.

My way to interpret New Beginings is the sentiment. Every Journey is like a new begining. And the sentiment is from Psx, the digistamp is from Sugar and Spice collection over at Charmed Card and Craft.
Papers are, Bazzill cardstock, pattern paper are Basic Grey an K&C Compani.
I used a MS punch and my image is colored with copics.
