Boy Oh Boy

Yes, it is sunday and time for a new challenge over at Dotties World.
This week our clever Lou has an opinion for the challenge- and this is what she tinks about that:

Boy Oh Boy
What else? With the recent launch of our new download collection Boy Oh Boy I thought a boy card had to be in order. You don't have to use one of the new images though any Charmed download will do. HOWEVER! I will be picking one of the entries at random this week to receive a wee prize! If you use one of the Boy Oh Boy images I will put yoour name in the hat twice! The Prize will be a £10 voucher to spend on something lovely at Charmed Cards and Crafts.

I have to say that this collection is so beautiful, I just love these images.

And I have used one for my card, and here is my card.

Sometimes less is more and that was my intention for this card. This fella is so adorable that it is no need for to much on the card.

Cardstock is Bazzill, pattern paper are something from a kit long time ago. Buttons I bought in a local store. I do fancy looking for special buttons in local stores wereever i am.
This Fella(and you can buy him here) is colored with my copics and there is some hand droodling along the sides.

So be inspired to take a visit over to DW and take a look at what my teamies have made. They are so clever and make amazing cards.

What do I mean when I say Gingerbreadhouse?

It is sunday and challenge day at Dotties World. This week I am the one to decide the challenge. It took me a while before I came up with this idea:

When I say gingerbreadhouse I mean: lets be inspired by them. They have this beautiful warm brown color, and the embellishment are so full of colores. And ofcours I get reminded of the fact that Christmas is coming up. So think about the colors and the embellishments or even the shape of gingerbreadhouses and use some of it on a card or a box. And ofcourse there has to be a Charmed downloads on the project. So take time to enjoy this challenge and have fun.

This is my project for this challenge

This is a goodie box. I found this template in the Magnolia Ink magazin. It was really fun to make it.
And I used these lovely stamps from Charmed Card and Craft. Inside this house I have the little birdie from Mixed Christmas. And this boy (Chill Time) is from Lou`s latest digistamps:
BoyOHBoy- you better take a good look at these, they are beautiful.
This little dude use to have is skateboard with him. But, I couldn`t allow him to take that today when he is visiting this little birdie.. :-D

Recepie:
Cardstock - Crafters Companion
Patter paper- My Minds Eye
Punch- MS heartpunchborder
Spellbinder nestabilites
Stars - Nille
Poinsette- I can`t remember
Sentiment- Norwegian from Kort og Godt
Sharms- tree from e-bay and the rest from Korthobby.no
The xmas Birdie and Boy-chill time is from CCC
Others from my stash.

So visit Dotties World at check out the other girls projects. I really love them and they make such great cards, it is allways a pleasure to visit their blogs.
And it would be so fun if you joined in this challenge.

A couple of challenges

This weekend there has been some challenges on a norwegian forum. I didn`t do so much, but I manage a couple.

This first one was to make something with Lilac as the main color. I made this tag and I am suppose to use it on birthday gift thats comming up.
I used ClubScrap pops for the tag, and a page from an old norwegian book. The sentiment is norwegian and means Happy Birthday to you. The image is from The Diamond Rubber Cd. I also used spellbinder dies and some flower from my stash.

This next one was to make our own background paper. The green one is shaving foam and distress. The one with text is glimmer mist and I distressed it cats eye.
I also used some cheese cloth and flowers from stash. The text is a bit from Alice in Wonderland and is a stamp from PSX.

Around the world

Hello, it`s sunday and that means another challenge in blogland. This is Dotties World challenge and Adele had something to say about that:

"In an attempt to get organised I need to make a few Christmas cards to send out around the world. SO, this week I would like you to make a card with a foriegn touch, it doesn't need to be a Christmas card but please include a touch of something "foriegn." This could be a greeting in a different language, a theme, image.....whatever inspires you. Please make sure you use one of the many fabulous Charmed Downloads in your creation."

That sounds great was my first tought, and that is what I still think. I have used this little angel from Mixed Christmas, She is so cute. I colored her with my copics and the background is glimmermist and copics. You can find her here at Charmed Card and Crafts
The text is an Magnoliastamp with Merry christmas in several different languages, I thought that have to be just about perfect for this challenge.

Cardstock is bazzill bling and the other papers are from an really old sheet I had for years- I am trying to get these old papers to good use. And the dotted one is grungeboard wich I have punched out with my bigshot die, the only one I have, and it`s a Stampin up one. I think it is called "top note" die.
Gold star is from Nille and the half peals are from my stash.

Well, it is time for you to take a visit over to Dotties World and take a look at what the rest of the design team has made, They do such amazing work.
Enjoy your sunday :-D

Friday and new Challenge at SFTW

Hello folks. Yes, it is friday and that means a new challenge at Stampin For The Weekend.
This week Vicki is the one who challenged us, and you... With this:

FESTIVE GOODIE BOX

And what I'd like you to create is, as the name suggests, a christmassy themed box with the added extra of it being distressed....i.e. tattered 'n' torn.

Over at split coast stampers, I saw THIS TUTORIAL but there are plenty of others on that site or you tube, or if you already have designs of your own just go with that, as long as it's a box to hold some christmassy treats that's fine.

The prize this week is :-

MME "Just Dreamy" 12 x 12 paper kit

1 bottle of gold Glimmer Mist

selection of tea roses

this prize is sponserd by Vicki.

Guest designers this week is:

Benedicte
and
Gry Heidi

And please take time to visit their blogs. This is two clever ladies, so be sure to leave them some sweet comments, they do amazing work.

Well, this is my goodie box. I had so fun making it. I really never done a box like this before. I used the template from a dvd I have from Crafters Companion.
I like how it tourned out. It is difficult to get good photos, so please bear out with the ones I have. This box looks so much better in real.

For this box i used ClubScrap cardstock for base and I cant remember from where I got the pattern paper, it is too old. The holiday sentiment is from a stamp set from Inkanikado.
This beautiful Holiday Pixie is from Charmed Card and Craft, and she is one of my favorite holiday digistamps. I used Polar bear flowersoft on her, my first try on that one, but I like it.
I colored her in with my copics. The ribbon is something from my stash.

Ok, this is it, be sure to visit Stampin For The Weekend and take a look at all the other boxes that my teamies have made. So much beautiful to get inspired from.

Bestillingskort

Jeg fikk bestilling på ett kort. De skulle gi ett maleri og hadde penger nok til innramming også. Ville gjerne at kortet skulle gjenspeile dette.
Vel, her ble resultatet mitt.

Feathers?

Yes, it is sunday and a new challenge at Dotties World. This week June is the one with a desire, and that is:

Hiya ladies, well if you didnt know it I love feathers!! This week I would love to see a feather or feathers incorporated into your card. Of course use a charmed digital download, and enjoy yourself hugs June xxx

I had to take on my thinking hat for this one, but suddenly I had an idea and what better to use than something from the animal collection at Charmed Cards and Craft.

Feather isn`t something I use a lot, but I was lucky and found some in my stash along with some prima flowers and other stash.

Well printed this image on some mangapaper and colored with my copics. The background I used my airbrush system on, and that was fun.
Papers are from ClubScrap.

So jump over to Dotties World and see what the rest of the team has come up with. And ofcours you can play along with us.
