Child`s Play over at DW

This week Lou has the saying over at Dotties World, and this is what she says:

Hi Folks, This week on Dottie's World I want to see you setting free the child in you. Make a card or something else for a child (using a Charmed Download please:)) . Let your imagination run wild.
My niece has her 6th birthday this week, so I deceided to make her a card with this challenge. I have seen the Tri shutter card on several blogs lately and wanted to try make one myself. So this was the perfect moment to do so. I had fun trying this out

I have used this little Pixie with an attitude, I think she is so kind of cute. I have printed her out in two different sizes. One big and two small ones. The big one is on front of the card. The two small ones I sat opposite of eachoter. I colored them different and clue them together so they are as one, but on each side of the card
All my coloring is done with my copics.
This little Pixie and Mushroom are ofcourse Charmed ones and you find them here

The flowers are clipart from Country graphics. I coverd both the flower and mushroom with glossy accent to give it a shinny look. I have a butterfly on the back of the card and have done the same with that one.

The text is rub ons and two Norwegian birthdaystamps. The first one says " Happy Birthday to you". The oter one says: " One big warm birthday hug for you."

The papers are Bazzill cardstock, and the pattern paper is some really old paper from my stash. I bought this paper 7 years ago, so no way I can remember from who.
I also added a small teddeybear charm and a just for you charm on this card as well.

And on the back you can see my signature stamp, and there is made place for some personal writing.

So take time to visit Dotties World and see what the rest of the team has come up with. Some amazing work, and one that is kind of surprise and wich I love by the way.
Enjoy your sunday and why not play along with us at DW.

It is sunday again- you know what that mean?

Challenge at Dotties World, and this week I am the one to set the challenge. And this is what I have to say about that.

Here in Norway, and far north where I live, it is really Autum/Fall now. The nature show us lots of beautiful colors, from green to yellow and orange- and the deep shade of red. I want you to get inspired with these colors and use them on a card, at least one or two of them.
And I think gold suits these colors so well, so I want you to use some gold on the card as well. That can be some gold embossing, a ribbon a paper or what ever you want.
And ofcourse I charmed digi download has to be included.
Let nature inspire you and have fun.

Gunn :-D

This is my card for this week. It is not so much stash going on here. It is the leafs that are my embellishment and I punched them out with different punches. Then I used three - four different shades of glimmermist to get the right color. When the glimmer mist wast dried I distressed them with colorbox fluid chalk. The big leafs and acorn are a Penny Black stamp, and i embossed it with gold and colored it with Prisma colors.

Cardstock are ClubScrap and StampinUp. DP are from Maja Design and this paper is so beautiful, that I did not want to cover it with lots of stach, that`s why it is only leafs as embellishment.
The sentiment are from StampinUp, and I used their punches to get this shape.
This image is a charmed one and it is a part of the Girl about Town Kit. And If you want this, you can buy it here.

Another close up picture of my card, here you can see the leafs.

So run over to Dotties and take a look at my fellow DT and their amazing work. I am so lucky to work with such a clever bunch of girls.

What about an early Hallowen Card?

It is sunday and that means time for a new challenge over at Dotties World. This week Nicole is the lucky one to deceide what she wants, and this is what she says about that:

Hello!
Nicole here this week, with another Dottie's World Challenge.
It's already October-I can't believe it! October always inspires me to make Halloween cards. So I'd like to see some Halloween cards.... I know there may be some of you who don't like the Halloween holiday so cards can be Halloween.."ish"...meaning you can also just use Halloween colors-orange/black and purple if you'd like!
You must use a Charmed Download.
Here is a link for a Charmed Download Halloween Collection that includes George and Dottie all dressed up for Halloween...so super adorable by the way!...and here is another collection called Dress up Dottie that would be prefect for Halloween and many other uses.

Here in Norway we don`t celebrate Halloween the same way as in UK, USA or Canada, but we are slowely getting there. In some places celebration take place.
So I made this card and had fun doing it.

Recepie.

Cardstock are ClubScrap and pattern papers are from Hot of the Press
Flowers are prima, sculls are grungeboard from Tim Holtz, the rest is from my stash.

Mine charmed downloads- Dottie and George are from the Halloween Collection and you can get them here.
So vistit Dotties World and see what my teamies has come up with- pretty amazing card I guess, they are all very clever in what they are doing.

Here you can see my card sligtly open.
